I'm sure many here remember ASP's Cajun Half and Half. There were many derivations and I enjoyed smoking my own version. However, my blending tobaccos were McC Dark Star, X-40 (I think that was the burley, correct me if I'm wrong), and Perique from Freddy Vegas. It's been a few years since my last batch, more like a decade, and I'm looking for a new formulation. For those who have tried you own, can you share your recipes? Preferably using easy to find components. Thanks.

PS- For those who might not know, a generic Cajun Half and Half is made of a VA (50%) and a burley (50%), after which one adds 10% of Perique (by weight).

I've been waiting for replies to this, as the concept of smoking a more burley-forward blend with added perique interested me. Well, I couldn't wait any longer, so I looked at what I have on hand and decided to very scientifically mix some Match Victorian with precisely "bout the same amount" of Granger. The results were enjoyable, but I suspect not the type of recipe you are looking for.

It made me wonder if there is such a thing as a BurPer, but not talking about a guy who has had a few carbonated beverages haha. Looking forward to more info on these types of mixes.
