@marmalade, sounds good brah..It has been a poker-pipe eye-ball'in day for me...must stop...or go carve one up...I have some more Apricot & Olive wood that has been sit'in around for far too long :puffy:

thanks brothers...since I started try'in to carve pipes I find myself look'in @ waaaaaay to many pipes..for ideas and the "how did they do it" factor :puffy:
Carve'in stuff all freehand is a MONSTER IMO for someone start'in out but makes me appreciate all the masters out there :puffy:

I was chatting with schmitzbitz the other day, he suggested that your apricot wood would look stunning with a blasted finish, I heartily agree!

hear that marmal4de, I was reading into blasting the other day (because I love the look of a blasted bacci pipe)...interesting setups some have for doing it...If I can find a working setup somewhere I could rent some time on it would be great practice :puffy:
