I've got a Willard that needs some TLC. The bowl is good, it the stem thats the problem. The end is closed up. I tried fixing it but I kinda made it worse. If anyone would like to do a full restoration on it let me know.

If your work on that Comoy bulldog is any indication of your talents, his pipe could look like a truck ran over it and end up looking like a museum piece when you're done. I don't remember the thread where that Comoy is pictured but it was pretty amazing after you fixed it up.

The Willards have the worlds softest stem!! I have never understood why Grabow decided to go with that material. It's softer than the nylon used by Medico and the ABS plastic used on later Grabows. Is it a push stem or screw in?

Thank you very much Adam12. That means a lot. I love working on the pipes and I put a lot of hard work, sweat, and sometimes tears (damned oxidation!!!) into them. Here's the before and after pics of that Comoy again:
Before: The Bulldog is the Comoy

After. And this was before I put it to the buffer...

Me thinks from past posts, he might want it restored for free

I've never asked anyone here for anything free. I don't expect anyone to fix it for free. I'm more then willing to pay for it. I posted about it because I like and trust the people here, and have seen the work they do. Also I thought that it would make a nice project for someone here. Give them something to do when their bored

Is it a push stem or screw in

Screw in

Thanks cajunguy ! I can do restorations pretty well by now, but not make a new stem (yet). Reading up on it though. Maybe in another 6 months or so.
