One has really caught my eye, and am looking for thoughts on them. Thanks in advance!

I'd never heard of these lighters, so I decided to look them up. They look to be quite well made and are priced accordingly, but not too expensive. The fact that they make a variety of pipe lighters was a little surprising. I also like that they make some with the pipe tools included. I guess I'm gonna have to get one, as I could use a decent butane lighter to back up my old Corona made Savinelli lighter. I saw a few used on eBay... oh, oh.

Yeah Duane, you've done it now! I did get a Sarome lighter. But you know me, I got a used one off eBay, saving me quite a bit of money. The lighter is great so far, looks almost new, but I don't think it's a current model. This one is a piezo electric lighter, and so far it worked every time. It's made in Japan and has a nice feel and shows quality construction. The flame control is a large ribbed wheel on the bottom for easy adjustment, and it also has a nice little pipe tool in the bottom. Pretty cool little lighter for $20, but I'm not sure I would pay about $70 for a new one, but that's just me being cheap. The new model looks a little different, and may have some inside technology like filtering that this one doesn't have.
So there you go, a little first hand info on a lighter that I'd never heard of, but now can recommend. So getcha one!

I just bought one identical to yours off the Bay, Orley.
Can't wait to get it and see how long it lasts before going to the bottom of my walnut bowl o'lighters.
I'm always hopeful - but usually disappointed.
My favorite inexpensive lighters of late have been the throwaway Linse line. They're affordable and they always work.

Got my eye on one with a leaf motif, then again, have a "grail" pipe gnawing at me too. :(

Chase the Grail, Duane.
Lighters come and go, but the Grails are, well, they're Grails, for God's sake!
Get the Grail.

Duane:
Saw a post earlier this evening about sub Franklin lighters and, like Orley a& Frogman, bought a 2nd hand version off the Bay.
It kills. Nice heft. Appreciate the Piezo technology and the only time it's let me down is when it runs out of fuel.
Thanks for the heads up.

Very welcome. They have an old boy styled one with a leaf motif that I'm still debating. Will probably cave.
