Anyone See Anything Odd in this Picture.....

This in not a trick question, it's a picture lifted from a BBC news article today about a stowaway who died in the landing gear well of this plane.

There's just something not quite right to my eyes.

If by blown out you mean oversized then yes, it just doesn't look right from a perspective point of view.

It appears larger than the engine closest to the camera which is the opposite of how one would expect.

Maybe it's built that way to service a circular flightpath

Now i see it. First it looked that that far engine had exploded. Now it looks like it was copy and pasted horribly lol

It’s an optical illusion, brought about by use of an ultra telescopic lens plus incident angles between fuselage and the engine.

Of course, the body parts dangling from the wheel struts might have something to do with it.

Flaps & Gear Down but that bubble / hump on top of the fuselage doesn’t look right.
Plus it’s a United flight so their luggage is probably still at their departure gate, the peanuts sucked and they arrived late enough to miss their connection.

That may be a stock photo of an older or different plane. None of the articles I've seen on the person found in wheel on Chicago to Hawaii flight look like that, The 787-10 Dreamliner looks larger and has double sets of wheels, This picture looks like an older plane with a replacement engine. Curious ...

You lost me at BBC, but fwiw, my guess is @Hillcrest is correct...probably a stock photo (but left engine does look odd...good reason not to fly).

Wow, I never noticed the different colour scheme.

but that bubble / hump on top of the fuselage doesn’t look right.

I spotted that but supposed it was part of the direction finding gizmos or whatever they use in planes these days.
