If it does, I sure cannot find it, although maybe my Google Fu is weak today.

The only thing I could find is this:

Not really their "corporate" website but part of a 'Pipe Show Online'.

I thought I needed to go to their website, but it turns out that McClelland is based out of my fathers hometown, Kansas City, MO. Next time he goes home, I think Ill just go with him and stop by and say hi!

I ended up sending an actual letter. On paper. In the mail.
Kind of nice, actually.

I searched last night myself, and it appears that they don't as yet have a website. I guess I'm just going to call them and beg them to make Blue Mountain available in bulk. God, I love that stuff! :puffpipe:

I wonder if Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson could solve this mystery? :puffpipe:

I talked to Mike at the KC pipe show last month trying to get him to start selling tins-only blends in bulk. I was prepared to beg, grovel, whine and roll on the floor kicking my feet. His response was "Never have, never will."

I wish Peterson would start selling some of their tins in bulk too. It'd make buying a pound of Connoisseur's Choice a lot easier on myself, the retailers, postal workers, etc. But like most McClelland blends you can only buy the tins :( . As for McClelland not having a website I don't see what could hurt to put together a site showcasing what blends are available and give the basic make up of the blends that online retailers already do.

As a MBA, it seems to me (believe it or not) pipe smokers are not their market...

But, rather retailers. Wholesale is immensely, different than retail.

I'm guessing of course; but, it seems to me that they have no need to waste company resources on advertising,

when that is taken care of by the retailer... and us... when we post about them.

In this day and age it is incredible that they don't have a web site. Very quaint approach to their business. Maybe they don't want to get much bigger and face the problems that other blenders have had keeping up with demand; ie. Samuel Gawith.

The McNeils definitely have their own way of doing business. It works for them. I believe that they would rather sell one pound of great tobacco than 100 pounds of good tobacco. Mike's contacts in the tobacco trade are the envy of virtually every other blender in the country.

All I can say is, just damn! I guess I'll just have to be happy ordering a sleeve of tins. :puffpipe:
