if so, are there any cool pipe stores to check out? or maybe a pipe group or something?
since i am 30 years old, it's quite hard to find people who smoke pipes....so just curious!

I work in toronto at least part of the week but live outside Toronto. There is apparently a downtown toronto pipe club. Google and ye shall find. As for stores, nothing I would call interesting. Thomas Hinds in Yorkville has some, but it's primarily a cigar store. Same for Smoking Cigar in the Bayview Eglinton area.

Hey its great to know there is a pipe club in Toronto. Your logo looks great. I am from Northern Ontario but my sister live's in Toronto. Maybe I could try & fix things up so that I would be able to attend one of your meetings when I go visit my sister on some weekend this summer.

Sorry I should clarify, my club is the Durham Region Pipe & Cigar Club. But I will definitely agree that their logo is great. But if you're interested in driving a little east than your more than welcome.

I live in Scarborough.
Well then MzPuff you should come out to Oshawa tomorrow night. It's only a hop, skip and a jump away. brdavidson is coordinating with our B&M in Oshawa, which has a commendable selection of pipe related paraphernalia. I'm in ajax and will be heading east for our gathering.

The only Tobacco shop I know of for pipes, cigars and tobacco is Walper Tobacco in Kitchener. I went there once, didn't buy anything. It's way cheaper to buy from 4noggins.

Believe me, I was very interested, but can't tonight. I'll do my best in the future. Hopefully things go well for you. Good luck and have fun.

Hey,
I live near Oshawa, I am going to try and make it out to the Durham group on Thursday's. However, if anyone wants to meet up for a pipe and conversation, let me know.

Victory Cigars, Smoking Cigars, Walper, Cigar Studio, and Thomas Hinds all have a relatively good selection of pipes and tobacco...CANADIAN PRICES AND SELECTION (if you know what I mean). If you look hard enough, there's enough in Toronto to get you what you want.

There is a very reasonable selection of tobacco @ canadian prices at a shop called " CHEERS " in downtown toronto on mc caul street north of dundas st west side about 1 block north of dundas st- he is a bit terse but lowest prices in toronto - semi reasonable selection for a canadian store -
cheers NOT usa prices @ 30+tax canadian compared to 10 usa from above posts.

cumberland is a nice guy to deal with but cumberland-ish yorkville prices

bayview clueless about pipes & tobacco - mainly cigars & gentlemens accessories for a guy who has everything type of shop
regards to all

buy from usa just watch the 200 - 250 gm limit & yes pipes ship separately.

Americans often ask me whats going on up here regarding prices - - yesterday i bought about 90$ tobacco from the first guy on my above list.

when i asked for a plastic bag to carry the tins as i use a cane & pockets were full they asked for 5 cents for the bag - about a year ago toronto tried to eliminate bags in land fill so all were charged 5 cents all over toronto & supposedly it was remitted to the city somehow - didnt work & was cancelled but some still charge & keep it- i guess 90$ for 2 100g tins was not enough - its called gouging - EH ( canadian expression - horrible ... eh
regards to all
