Kind of a shot in the dark, but I'm setting up a new email and synching it with my tablet. I can access the new email and send out emails (good) but cant seem to receive them (bad) and I get a message that there is a problem synching them together.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

In Gmail settings, choose your affected gmail account and scroll down to the option to sync Gmail. See if that option is turned on.

Maybe your tablet isn't allowing gmail to sync? Settings > Accounts and Back ups > Manage Accounts > There should be an Auto sync data slider. You can also access the settings for your google account and make sure it's specifically set to sync.

The weird part is my other emails are synched just fine, it's just the new one that doesn't work. I've checked all the sliders as well, they are all set correctly.

Not 100% important, but it makes it easier for matching Secret Santas.

Can't you update by dragging finger down on screen? I don't do auto update/sync since that eat up battery. If you don't sync, there's a way to update/sync as needed.
