Ever since I missed out on an estate Sav 673 a few weeks ago, I've been on the hunt. Nothing hit the right combo of price, condition, and style until yesterday, when the new estates dropped on SP and there it was! I clicked right away, added a tin to get over the free shipping limit, hit the button, and smiled. And then I looked at the email confirmation. Something wasn't quite right. I looked closer. I had just bought a perfectly nice 677. Thankfully, the folks at SP let me drop the order, no hassle, and I'm sure it wasn't the first, last, or hundredth time someone had done this. But lesson learned!

I generally have no problem ordering on line, but when I order from SP, I always call in the order. The guy answering always verifies the product. The interaction forces me to think and Sps verification is a backup check.

You had found what you had been looking for and had the "shakes" to buy it. Didn't pay close enough attention and got in a bind. I did almost the same thing when trying to order a birthday gift for my wife that she wanted and I had been running into walls everywhere trying to find it. When I did, I got the jitters and just started pushing buttons (ha). Like you, I had a good experience with the site's customer service person, but it was women's stuff and not items I was versed in. Felt like a fool trying to describe everything.

Wonder if anyone has ever done that when ordering sex toys???? Now THAT would be an embarrassing call to make. :ROFLMAO:
