Any Old Timers Here Smoked Old Chum?

One of my uncles started with Old Chum back in the day, id assume 60's? Until they stopped making it, then he switched to other kinds. Sounded interesting, couldn't find much on it, i think it was probably an OTC.
Anyone familiar?

yeah when I hear of people smoking old chum I don't get the image of someone with an old friend. I get the image of a fisherman lost at sea who ran out of tobacco and thinking maybe I could smoke that chum in a fit of desperation. And old chum might have to be scrapped out of the bucket but will be dryer then some aros.
