Hello Pipers

I have an infinity bag of left overs and was thinking of trying something at home. Initial thought is letting an ounce hydrate up a dram of my favorite whiskey. Does sweet things like molassis or honey hydrate well?

Any good recipes out there?

I usually drop a couple hydro stones in some rum or bourbon for a few minutes then put them in the tobacco and seal it for a few days. I've considered trying honey or maple but (these are not proven) to my mind it risks extra fermentation, plus introducing too much sugar content could force a hotter burn.

There are quite a few threads here for home blends, here's one of the more recent ones, they are even in this section of the forums :)
