Any Good Tobacconists in Northern Oregon?

Thinking about a jaunt along the Oregon coast from Astoria down, and will have to pass through the Portland area anyway, so … any must stop kind of places or recommendations?

Any interesting pipe shops or local B&M shops you think are special and worth a visit?

Please keep in mind, I haven't actually been in the area for about 15 years, but there was a place out in Beaverton called Timber Valley or Timber Lodge... something to that effect. Paul's Cigars on the Quay used to have pipe tobacco too.

We used to run up there while were in the St. John's dry dock outside Portland.

Rich's downtown location and 82nd Avenue Tobacco & Pipe are the two main pipe tobacco shops in Portland. There are other shops in town that focus on cigars and lots of others that focus on cigarettes that may have tiny selections of tins or pouches, but I haven't been to one recently.

Oh, the Portland Pipe Club is meeting at the Rose & Thistle on Sunday, Feb 20, at 3 pm. Feel free to drop by if you're around. It's a super casual, no agenda, affair; just a bunch of old geezers doing what old geezers do.

What a fantastic evening with the Portland Pipe Club! This was the best possible way to spend IPSD and I am so thankful that it was possible. Even though we were from several states away and completely unknown to anyone we were welcomed and made to feel like part of the group. We left feeling like long-time members and I am looking forward to trying to visit again if it’s even remotely possible. What a great group of people and some new friends!

My wife had a great time visiting with everyone and said it’s been so long since she’s had that much fun meeting a bunch of new people.
