Any clue what this pipe is?

I just got this pipe on eBay for $10, the only markings on it are “classic imported briar” as well as a star shape on the stem. If anyone has any idea that would be awesome! Attached are some photos. Thanks!

"classic imported briar" makes this an American made pipe most likely. The 4-pointed star (that's what I see) could make this a Linkman's.
