Another Stanwell Bulldog

This Stanwell Shape 11R Bulldog designed by Anne Julie has been on my Wishlist for a while.


Arrived a couple of days ago, courtesy of Fae aka @PipeCat and her husband, Tony (both Forums sponsors, Tobacco Treasures and Mr Stanwell)
Such a pleasure dealing with them.

The pipe is in great condition and arrived ready to smoke. An alcohol-dipped cleaner in both shank and stem came out pristine.

Yes, it’s quite rare. It’s been on my Wishlist for sometime.
In a way, it’s the antithesis of the bulldogs I like with its tall bowl and elongated sinuous shank and stem.

I came across this (purportedly 1925) Bakelite Bulldog with a Redmanol stem in recent EBay offerings. Very, very similar
