Since I loved my first one so much, I had to get another. I saw this one on Ebay and being the Dublin is one of my favorite shapes and the price was right, I pulled the trigger. I also have Rad making me one to match my first one but in the Dublin shape and also black. My goal is to have a 7 day set all black eventually. I am still in awe of how well that first Rad pipe is smoking.

Cigrmaster, another beautiful pipe.

I've seen many post from you with pipes like this, you must have quite the collection.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.
martiniman, thank you, I like to think I have a nice collection. I have been changing it up recently, for a bit I was collecting British pipes, and have bought some nice ones. Now I am going for American carvers. I am buying some unbelievably great smoking pipes while supporting our guys.
adam 12, I think the guy used a bottle of old spice for his background. I haven't used it since high school along with the illustrious Brute. The chicks dug both back in the day.

hawke, I am selling a few pipes that I just don't reach for anymore, but not my favorites from my British buying. I think that most of my future purchases are going to be American and mostly Rad Davis. I just grabbed another Rad yesterday, a billiard. I can't copy the pictures from the site, but when I get the pipe I will post them. If I can buy another Butera for a reasonable number I will grab it for sure. So far the American pipes I have bought smoke as good as my best pipe, my Former. If I can get my collection to include mostly pipes that smoke that good I will be a happy camper. I have 2 levels of pipes in my collection, the Former level and then the rest. If the rest are just a tiny bit not as good as the Former, then I keep them, if not I get rid of them. I don't like looking at a pipe, knowing I am not going to smoke it or smoking it because I feel like I have to since I own it. I love reaching for a pipe and feeling excited to smoke it.

Well this one came in today and I fired it up with some Fribourg&Teyer Cut Virginia Plug and it peformed as I knew it would. The pipe smoked cool and unbelievably dry and the tobacco tasted great. I have never owned a makers pipes that smoke as dry as a Rad Davis. I have yet to need a pipe cleaner in either one and I live and smoke in 90% humidity, it is uncanny. Even my best pipes will need a cleaner or two outside in this humidity, but not the Rad's.
The billiard I just picked up over the weekend will be here in a couple of days, here is what that one looks like.

Thanks Hawke, cannot wait to smoke this puppy. I am sure it is going to smoke like my other Rad's, which is to say incredibly well. I have smoked many pipes in the 800.00 range and only a few of them smoked as well as these Rad's. It just goes to show, you do not need to spend that kind of money to get a superior smoker.

Truth!! I got into Rad's pipes when he was first starting up and the improvement between the batches was just amazing, he knows his stuff. I only own one now, a nose warmer billiard, but it is an awesome smoke. His blasts are incredible, up there with the best.

I am smoking this beauty with some F&T Cut Virginia Plug as I type and it is performing like I expected. Nice and cool and dry, tobacco tastes great, no hint of a gurgle, light and comfortable, a total keeper. So far I am three for three with being totally impressed with Rad's work. I still cannot believe that I have not had to use one pipe cleaner with any of his pipes, it is almost impossible in this humidity.

Rad Davis pipes are superb in every respect, great smoking quality and excellent craftsmanship. The man puts his heart and soul into his work for sure. Love the Dublin you scored, it's a beauty.
