Well I went to Mississippi for the new year and spend some time with friends and family. My best friend found me an interesting find at a goodwill store. A beautiful Townhall pipe with a sterling London band on it.

He also found an Antique store with a booth that had quite a few pipes. I picked up six of them to work on restoring.
Below they are from top to bottom.

Kaywoodie "500" 88S with a us pat number on it

Seandrew 335 (never heard of nor can find any info on)

Westbrook Dr Grabow orange spade (screw in stinger)

Regal Dr Grabow Adjustomatic (screw in stinger) found at local Antique store

Townhall 13

Golden Duke screw in stem for paper filters

Silver Duke screw in stem for paper filters

Kaywoodie White briar (going to be the hardest to restore with some of the white chipped)

The stems in no order, right after pulling me out. Some still had filters in them, and a couple where really hard to get the stem out.

Stems right after oxyclean bath, some need another.

Interesting finds! I especially like the Town Hall 13. According to Jose Manuel Lopes in his book titled "Pipes - Artisans and Trademarks" Town Hall was, "...a former English brand from the 1930s, a Comoy's second."
As for Goodwill, I never thought of looking for pipes there, but will add it to my list of venues to search when scouting for estates.

The Seandrew has made in England right under Seandrew. The stem has an S inside of a circle. Here are some pics that I took with my phone, not the greatest.

I hope the Townhall is from the 30's that would be great.

Daniel, I didn't get them all from the goodwill, only the Townhall 13 came from the goodwill. My buddy picked it up for me. He knew of a Antique store that had some pipe stuff and we went there and I purchase the rest of the items, minus the Regal Grabow (local find in GA).
I also didn't think goodwill would carry such items, makes me happy they would if any are dropped off. Then again that could vary from location to location.

While cleaning the shank of what I thought was Seandrew it turns out to be a St Andrew pipe. Still know next to nothing on it from pipephil, I will continue the search.

Great haul and wonderful clean up work.
Amazing what spit, polish and elbow grease will do resurrecting these old soldiers.
I've stocked a lot of Boy Scout patrol boxes out of Goodwill stores and have found several collectibles plus pipe racks and holders but never an actual burner. Scoring a well shaped Comoy's 2nd is a good get, Tompall.
