Actually it smokes quite nicely. You don't have to puff quite as hard to get very good flavor and you can feel it getting hot that much easier and slow down properly. I've been smoking escudo out of it and absolutely love it..

Marco Biagini makes a really nice pipe. Love this nose warmer. I only wished he drilled a larger chamber diameter on his big pipes.
