Another MM Reverse Calabash

Finally not morning and I need to take a time out and keep things smokey.

This is the second Reverse Calabash Limited Edition Cob MM put out, got it primed with some 12 y/o Condor Plug.

Mine is still as of yet unsmoked. Maybe Thanksgiving or Christmas. :D

Mine's still in pristine condition too. Seeing how their rims char, I'm now not sure I want to smoke it.

Actually a Cob is the only pipe I do that with, I like the look and I have to say this has the thickest Cob I’ve ever gotten from MM, it got the interior chamber charred to perfection in 3 smokes.

Looks good! I have 2 that I'm not really going to smoke. Maybe i'll post them for sale. I thought they would be my thing, but they're not.

Yep, released earlier this year as a variant on the one release in 2015.
Here's the 2015 with the 2018. Still curious as to how to char the rim.

If you need a rim charred I got a guy...

I overfill the chamber well above the top, get 5 or so puffs then tamp it below the top, the char is very light, when I used a Zippo it damaged things, just look at the 13 y/o Diplomat but butane with a soft flame is the bee’s knees.
