Another Astas Meer Coming My Way

I got a message from my friend Mustafa at Astas Meerschaum, regarding another claw pipe he made. I wasn't in the market for a second one unfortunately. Then he asked if I was interested in any other model he had. (He's like the devil on my shoulder "You need a new pipe....").

So I looked around to see what else he had available, just for curiosity. No intentions on buying anything.

My Astas pipes always have a nice open draw. In fact, I haven't had a meer with a draw too tight. I think that's another reason I prefer meers. #1 is the absorbancy of moisture.

I've had some stems in the past that were just too restricted to enjoy, even when packed lightly.
