Well, I've been waiting two months for this one. Snail Mail. Have thre Petes, and my "Little Pete" needed a companion. So, I pushed the button a little less than two months ago . . . snail mail due to Postal Disruptions and transport barriers due to weather. My other Pete is a System Standard, big huge bowl. So now the trio is complete.

I've been doing a lot of breaking in lately, on meds that affect my taste buds, and have the dreaded tongue bite from complete lack of discipline and patience in the project, so am chewing and having but one cigar a day until I finish the three day hiatus, and then back to the break ins in progress.

But this Peterson Tavern Pipe, Rhodesian bowl, is gonna look great on my rack, waiting for it's turn! It's a small/medium bowl, exactly what I wanted! 🙃 👍👍

How long is this one?
7 1/2" - just about perfect. Not as long as a Churchwarden, but a tad longer than the 6" or so standard pipe. May have to get another one - same design, different bowl . . . . :ROFLMAO: cray

Dunno what I'd have to give up though . . . in spite of buying a lot of pipes lately, I've not increased the amount of pipes in my collection - just given away some I didn't really like smoking, and replaced them with ones I did. Kept the same rotation.

Price doesn't have much to do with it - some of the cheaper pipes I've obtained lately have been stellar - a couple of the Mr.Brogs, for instance. And I do have a pension-type budget. Pete's are always great smokers though - this isn't a premium pipe cost wise - $99 US plus shipping - medium priced, I guess. But I will be picking up a Savinelli Bing to go with my Savinelli Avorio, the most expensive pipe I own - cost my $250 US, and is a fantastic smokier. I will be expection the same from the Bing, when I can push the button in September.

And let's not forget cobs - the best cost/performance winner of all. The 6" long mini-cobs I smoke are the only pipes I ever clench - their mouthpiece suits the task for my dental structure - somewhat rearranged in my youth with, shall we say, via rambunctious and retaliatory activities, lol. Grew a 'stach to hide the evidence. rotf  These little cobs are Invaluable for typing at the keyboard, and other hands on stuff.

Another tobacco order has to come first, however. Running low on a few available favourites.
