An Overlooked Factor in the GH&Co Taste Situation

All of their blends taste best when smoked in English pipes.

In fact, it literally refuses to light---meaning produces zero smoke even when a cigar torch lighter is used---if the pipe is Italian. You'd think it was black asbestos.

It grudgingly burns a bit and tastes OK when smoked in American pipes, but nothing to write home about.

Pipes from other countries I'm not sure about since I don't have any.

Who'da thunk it, right? But there you go.

This is what my 6th grade teacher used. On a good week, he would go through three or four of 'em. As with any S. Korean educational institutions, corporal punishment is the root of successful students.

By the way, it won't fit as a tamper for non-English pipe.
