Having been a long time friend with the late Murphy Anderson, I was quoted in this article about him. I also supplied some research about this wonderful artist and human being. Murphy was one of the kindest, sweetest people whom I knew, and he had a legion of devoted friends and fans. I know and have known a lot of people in the comic book business, and never heard a single negative word about him.

Murphy was dear, sweet, caring, and very humble man who was deeply respected and admired. I would be extremely shocked by and disbelieving of anyone who said a negative word about Murphy. I knew him for the last twenty years of his life, and we spent a lot of time together. His late sister and his nephew have been my car mechanics for decades. Never, ever have I heard a negative word from anybody in or out of the comic book business. Even Gil Kane, who was a friend of mine and a very judgemental person once said "Murphy Anderson is a saint. They should canonize him."
