Our B&M got in a box of Altadis samples and our club has gotten to try them and give feedback. I took home the English Toffee and just smoked a bowl in Savinelli Deluxe. It is an aromatic that is light and spongy, not goopy. My pipe has a large bowl and I filled it about 3/4 full. It smoked all the way through without tongue bite and produced a nice thick smoke, thick enough to blow smoke rings, and I blew many. My wife had actually never seen me do it and thought it marvelous. Anyway, it is subtly sweet at first, but the deeper into the bowl you get the flavor really comes out. It reminds me of Butter Toffee popcorn and that flavor maintained throughout the whole of the bowl. It has a nice room note as one might imagine too, of warm toffee or cookies baking. I got this sample free, but would buy it again. It is a nice light smoke, no N hit that I can detect and would accompany a nice hot cup of tea or coffee.

Sounds good! I've wanted to try some Altadis blends, mainly Blue Note, but this review makes me want to try some English Toffee. Thanks for posting Shantiques, hope to meet you at the Chattanooga show!
