Just received my Tom Thumb, today. It was un-smoked, but I cleaned it anyway, of course.
I was thinking "kids toy", and was pleasantly surprised when I smoked it.
Thing is small enough to fit into the tobacco pouch. Perfect for travel. I like it.
Anyone else smoked or own one of these?

Ooo. I like that! That would be perfect for my wife. Are they still in production?

Isn't that cute? I have a couple of little pipes with no stems, must get them running. I also have a Grabow Duke that is quite small.

didimauw. There another un-smoked Tom Thumb on eBay at the moment. I can't post the link. Search for it as "Tom Thumb rear briar".
Any smaller and it would be a choking hazard. So light you don't even have to clench it with your teeth.
This is the perfect, "in a pinch" pipe, or to take with on a hike where space/weight matters.
Ken. Yes. I think the women would find it attractive.
I also read that such small pipes originated during the war when scarcity and price became an issue, and thus smoking smaller amounts was the compromise.
