Ok this'll probably be the dumbest question but can you possibly get some alcohol in your bloodstream from smoking alcohol flavored pipe tobacco? you obviously can't get drunk this way but could you get at least a bit intoxicated?
Thanks

Seriously ? If a person were to drink a quart of whiskey it would most certainly kill them. I've been flirting with death all this time and did'nt realize it

yes of course when they use real alcohol as a topping. watch you don't smoke too many bowls in a row of the alcohol blends, one of our members here had to go to the ER for alcohol poisoning after smoking GH Whiskey twist all day. Just be aware of what your smoking and don't over do it and you should be fine
WTF???? 8O ...

Scarface, I'm calling BS on that story. I wouldn't trust whomever told you that.

If the club member went to hospital, it was for a nicotine overdose from smoking one of the most nic-heavy blends ever made (GH Twists), not alcohol poisoning.

It is impossible for someone to get alcohol poisoning from a tobacco flavored with an alcoholic flavoring. The remaining alcohol contained in the tobacco isn't even enough to register molecularly on most tests, and whatever is left of the alcohol burns off, and is quickly evaporated in the intense heat of the burning tobacco. It just isn't possible to get a buzz, let alone alcohol poisoning.

I wouldn't expect there'd be much if any alcohol content left as most of the alcohol would have evaporated off only leaving the flavoring from the spirit. No different than using rum to make a rum cake. I've been smoking Sutliff Barbados Plantation of late and its topped with a sweet Barbados rum. Been smoking it quite a bit and haven't gotten a "buzz" yet but you can definitely discern hints of the rum flavoring.

Ok..I detect a lot of sarcasm in some of the replies. I infer there cannot be any alcohol content whatsoever in the smoke vapor of alcohol flavored tobacco then? I was being genuine with my question as I don't know much about pipe tobacco.
Thanks

I think you will only find sarcasm in one post, from someone that has a tendency to be a bit venomous in his responses. Pay no attention.
I would agree with the rest of the gang here. The amount of alcohol in any booze laced blend is going to be minimal to start, and negligible after natural evaporation and then putting flame to it.
If you want a little buzz, stick to the bottle
