Well, the lil' pipe finally made it here, after 8 days of FedEx travel.
Had to take the record shot before disinfection and subsequent enjoyment, of course.

I was impressed with Al Pascià's packaging too:

Considering that I had been thinking of this pipe as kind of early BDay gift, the gift-wrapping was apropos. Now I wanna order another one for the real day!
Only thing I didn't like, so far, is that the chamber seems a bit deeper than advertised. Guess I just won't pack it to the brim.

yeah, Al Pascia doesn't skimp on the packaging. I wish more retailers took that much care in the presentation of their packages. It's a little something extra special, and it's nice.

Still trying to decide what blend to give this one its baptism of fire with. I'm an aro bloke, but I bought this one for latakia blends, at least till I can get a morta. The bowl is coated, so I'm unsure if the cut –ribbon vs. flake– would matter. Decisions, decisions...

Yup, a vodka swabbing of the mouthpiece, bowl and airways. Especially the mouthpiece.

Yeah, I was busy with that last evening. I wanted to take more of a hero shot, but I couldn't come up with a good idea for that, so I just took an illustrative pic instead. The pipe's shape also makes it impossible for it to 'sit', so thank God for fishing line.
