I grabbed a few things from Pipestud today:
A tin of 1998 Three Nuns - Am I right that this is the burley version and not the perique version? Looking forward to trying it aged in any event.

Two more tins of GL Pease's Raven's Wing, c. 2004:

A 100g tin of Orlick's Dark Strong Kentucky, c. 1998

Two tins of Pelican c. late 1990s

One tin of Sullivan's Special Mixture, c. late 1980s/early 1990s

I don't know a thing about this blend - so it is a complete shot in the dark for me.

Looks like fun. A lot of interesting tobaccos there. Not positive, but I think you picked up the Perique version of 3 Nuns.

Nice haul. I believe you have the Perique. The Three Nuns export version contained Perique until sometime in 1999.

How do you like Raven's Wing? I've smoked one tin of the stuff in 2009, aged 5 years at that point, and it was sublime. For a sweeter latakia blend, there is nothing that I've had that comes close.

I haven't tried the Raven's Wing yet. When I saw 2 more tins though I just grabbed them in case I do. I figure if I open one and don't like it I shouldn't have too much trouble moving the other 3.

peck, that is the real deal Three Nuns. That Orlik DSK is also a great blend, I have one tin left from 1997 and the last one I cracked back in the summer of 2012 was sublime. Great scores.

When I smoked English blends Ravens Wing was one of my favorites, that stuff is real hard to come by.
Now that I think about it, talk about giving a pig whipped cream, those aged tins should be smoked by someone who has real taste buds, not by someone who drools over Mixture No 79.
