I am smoking C&D Gentleman Caller with deer tongue. I noticed a very distinct aftertaste, which I never experienced with any other tobacco yet. I am reading reviews, and not surprised that only @JimInks mentions this. I find myself taking a puff, and then stopping to enjoy the aftertaste which I prefer to the actual smoke.
Since I am fairly new to exploring tobacco, can anyone teach me more about aftertaste? Is this common with tobacco's? Is is somewhat unique to deer tongue? Which tobacco's have pronounced aftertaste?
