I opened a jar of my own home blend. Its simple realy.....I call it Texas Blend. 1/2oz Virginia bright leaf, 1/2oz burley, 1oz latikia, a healthy pinch of perique, and about a table spoon of whiskey. Blended together and packed tightly into a pint mason jar. Let sit on the shelf long enough to melt the flavors together.

Well the verdict is its a very good tasting smoke. For the next batch I will add more perique and cut the bright leaf with some red.

Sounds like quite a smoke...congratulations on the successful blending and aging! But I have to say, judging by your pic, the last couple of years must have been rather hard on you. Hopefully smoking that 'baccy will give you a new lease on life. Enjoy every puff! :puffy:

Blending your own hooch is a really expensive way to go.

I know, I've wasted my share of tobacco on "blends gone bad".

Russ O's Fusion Lab was a good idea, though I think I'd rather

spend the money sampling established brands -- God knows there's enough to keep me busy.
