Advice please

[CDN Piper]

So I have some dried pear wood and I am drying some cherry wood as I kind of want to experiment with making my own pipes. Are there any special tools you would suggest or any tips and tricks to making a Pipe, I eventually want to make myself a church warden Pipe.
