Some hours ago probably because I was really bored with tv I decided to see if I could figure out about how many bowls of tobacco I've smoked over the past fourty years.At an average of four bowls per day it comes to over 50,000 bowls.If I knew how many bowls there are in a pound I could guess about how many pounds that would be.Then if I figured an average cost over the years of around $17 per pound I could guess at how much money I've spent on tobacco in those fourty years.I'm sure that some here can figure it out,but then do we really want to know how much we spend to smoke our pipes?

I think I read somewhere that the average bowl is 1/10 of an ounce.
So 160 bowls per pound?
Which would make 312.5 lbs, and around $5300 dollars?

Even with all of the increased prices and increased taxes, pipe smoking is still the lowest-cost smoke out there.
