The Chicago Pipe Show has several events for the wives. On Friday we have a champagne limo tour to the Chicago Premium outlet mall. A stretch limo shuttles to and from the nearby outlet mall all day (9:45 am to last pick up at 4:30 pm) on Friday. French champagne is served in the Limo, and its all free, thanks to Altadis USA. There is also a free welcome banquet on Friday night, a seven course buffet including desserts. Wives can attend, of course. And Friday night there is a ladies' craft project, which will be the making of a fashion accessory "zipper flower". The wives can take home the flower they make, and this is also free thanks to Altadis USA. Also, wives of show exhibitors are invited to a ladies' luncheon on Saturday at noon. This is also free for the wives of show exhibitors, and women exhibitors, thanks to the sponsorship of McClelland Tobacco Company.
Pheasant Run Resort has a Mario Tricoci Spa, an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, and a golf course with special rates for the show: $39 including carts on week days, and $49 on Saturday and Sunday. There is also a fitness center. So bring the wife with you to the Chicago Pipe Show, there is plenty for her to do and enjoy.
Also, remember to make your hotel reservations at the Pheasant Run Resort so that you and your wife can enjoy everything. It really helps the Show to keep going if you help us make our room night requirement. We are getting very close to meeting our obligation this year, which will assure us that we can afford to hold a 2013 Show.
