A vintage Meerschaum

Keeping it smokey with some Orlik Golden Sliced in a vintage Andreas Bauer, of Vienna Austria, Meerschaum Billiard with Silver Military Mount and cultured Amber stem.

I'm not a Meerschaum owner, but the smooth traditional shapes in Meerschaum are my favorites.

How do you find cultured amber?
It certainly looks different.
Comfort? Durability?

This is the first one I’ve owned Jay, in fact it just came, I can see some tooth indentation from the previous owner, not horrible but I don’t plan on trying to remove them. It reminds me of the Bakelite stem on my Bruce Weaver Cutty, since I don’t clench I don’t think it will be an issue for me, came in a form fitted breast pocket clam shell style leather covered case.

Absolutely nothing wrong with cultured Meerschaum in my books. Great pipe banjo, maybe one of my favorites of yours.

Mike, the Meerschaum is block the amber stem is cultured, regards.
