October 25th I flew out to Philadelphia. Yes, it is still Carcosa. It was not sunny. That said I went to The Pipe Rack on Germantown Rd, and sat down with the owner. We had a great time, watching YouTube vids and listening to each other tell of our storied youth. I bought a nice little Erik Nording pipe, very fairly priced, well presented and quite light. A few tins of tobacco were also added to my luggage. I highly recommend a visit there.
Sadly Harry's Cigar shop is now closed, so it should likely be removed from Retailer's list. Holts Cigar Company was a great visit, and more fantastic conversation was had until a strange little man got triggered at my groups conversation and had a freakout. I wish I recorded it!
If you go to Philly, go in quickly and out as fast as you can. Avoid the cheese steaks. They're all garbage. Velveeta laden chop steak
