Been an unregistered lurker for awhile now and finally decided to register myself. A piper since 2012 and I currently am smoking from a Shape 66 Castello!
I've wondered what the rules for pipe smokers in Singapore are like. And not just the legal rules but also how other people react to pipe smokers. Especially since it's on the list of places I need to visit. It's important to know if you should leave the pipe at home or how much tobacco you can bring.Been an unregistered lurker for awhile now and finally decided to register myself. Well, other then the occasional "its really smelly, could you please go somewhere else?" Folks tend to leave you alone if you are smoking in a designated area.I've wondered what the rules for pipe smokers in Singapore are like. That's about what I thought. I remember reading in the 90's that you could bring in a personal use amount of tobacco. Which was something like 2 ounces of pipe tobacco, two packs of cigarettes. I could be remembering it all wrong too though. What kind of selection do you guys have in pipes?Well, other then the occasional "its really smelly, could you please go somewhere else?" Having said that, you can't bring tobacco in but you can buy some from our local tobacconist (Tabac101) here. Not as cheap as compared to the States, but aye, you're on holiday! In short, bring your favourite pipe, but leave the tobacco at home.
Wish I could have some snow though..Welcome!!........... Singapore is on my bucket list........... I hope to visit there soon.
