The good thing is that I have a few more like this one and plenty of other tampers. I lost another one just like it in our front garden. One day I’ll learn to use the metal detector we have and find it. I tried a couple times but I’ll be damned if I can understand that thing. WTF IS DISC/NOTCH!!!!!!Thats a bummer. I'm really sorry but I laughed a bit when I saw the picture.

that’s the pic I sent to my wife because she knew I was looking for it the night before.
I mean I read about it, but it doesn’t seem to do shit either that or there is buried treasure under my front garden. ?
I thought that too but unfortunately no. It stretched the acrylic as it broke so the pieces don’t quite fit together properly.Won't gorilla glue make the tamper at least serviceable??
You'll need to find someone more intelligent than me to help you. I've got a concrete front yard and I'm currently sitting in it smoking War Horse Bar out of a maple pipe. Mensa are not hunting for me.I mean I read about it, but it doesn’t seem to do shit either that or there is buried treasure under my front garden. ?
It’s a “lone star” brand I have no idea if that’s a piece of shit or not. ?
Although I will say that your description pic above is better than most explanations I read about.
I should bury it just like that in ash: à la PompeiiIt can still tamp. And it's now achieved relic status. Congrats!
Sadly, we had you on the list of prospects. Scraaatch..... ?You'll need to find someone more intelligent than me to help you. I've got a concrete front yard and I'm currently sitting in it smoking War Horse Bar out of a maple pipe. Mensa are not hunting for me.
Actually installing a pick is not a bad idea. Maybe I could heat a nail or some other metal spike and jam it home.'Seems like you could incorporate the part that is still a tamper and build a different pick on the other end, if it is worth the time to you. Since you have others that are similar, it might not be worth the time. Looks like you can easily make yourself a whole new tool, if you fancy. Looks quite nifty, even in pieces.
I remember those!!!!!Ouch, I did the same thing to my favorite pair of Gargoyle sunglasses back in the '90s.
That's the ticket!I thought that too but unfortunately no. It stretched the acrylic as it broke so the pieces don’t quite fit together properly.
I’m going to round/polish the top as it can still be used as a tamper, just with no pick.
I think she read the forum and believed my joke about tampers. Think about how this happened less then a day latter. The good thing is that I have a few more like this one and plenty of other tampers. from the Vauen video thread. (If she's reading and we keep saying it was a joke, she might believe us). What was the joke about tampers? ?
Lol I can assure you she has zero interest in this forum. If it’s not Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook it’s not worth any time. ?from the Vauen video thread. (If she's reading and we keep saying it was a joke, she might believe us).
