This next pipe came to me as just the stummel w/o any idea of what the stem looked like or who made it.
Once I received it and cleaned it up I was able to make out the maker as Jost, which was a tobacco shop in St. Louis, MO, the model is a Belvedere and it appears to be basically a Freehand with plateau bottom and an intricate and ornate band. The ivory stem in it is one I had from a pipe that burned out and fit it although a slight bend might make it look better.
Keeping it smokey with the last of the F&T Cut Virginia Plug from this tin.

I really like that one, a sort of pastiche collaboration between you, Jost, and the stem and band crafts people. Boy' that catches the eye.

Very interesting, that is the first Jost pipe I've seen that isn't the basic billiard. Thanks for showing it to us Banjo. Ever since I first learned about the Jost shop, it has been something I wish I could have seen.
