Flyfishn:
When fishing from a kayak, standard operating procedure in landing a large fish (wahoo, shark, etc.) is to lock the drag all the way and allow yourself to be towed by the animal until it tires. If you're lucky, the line holds out until it can be reeled to the side of the kayak where it can be stabilized with a fish hook or net. The fish is then towed to the beach and cleaned there. It ain't fly fishing, but it sure is fun.
