A Much Needed Get Away

Last weekend the family and I went to a family reunion, which I normally dread but this is the part of the family you actually want to see. Plus a weekend at the lake in a cabin never hurts. Stress levels have been on the rise around here so this couldnt have come at a better time. Didn't get too many pics (mostly because of the first pic)

My oldest son and I were invited to sit in with the "Whiskey Confessions Band"

They really had to drag us up there too ::

This was my first experience with 40 Creek, they sponser the band so there was plenty around..I was impressed, bought some more monday :D

I'm not a fan of Rye in fact I'm more of an Irish Whiskey or Scotch guy but man the first time I tried this over ice I was impressed!
