I enjoy imagining the history of old pipes like this. Seeing as how it's nearly as old as my father (92yrs today). what sort of fellow smoked it? What tobacco did he use? As the stem was relatively clear on the inside, it seems to have been well cared for.

It seems to me there used to be more bend in the stem. Or atleast that's how I'd prefer it!
