The last batch of tomatoes went in today, ( I am near Sacramento) and I planted eight rose bushes over the last three days. I am bushed.
This went in last year.

Flowers, so pretty.
But sprouting plants mean that the swarms can't be far behind. I'm outdoors least 10x more often during Winter.

I can feel it, the drums of war approaching, armies in dark places preparing for battle. Soon I will retreat underground and wait out the storm.
