A Late Christmas Present

My wife had been hunting for upright bass for me for a couple months. Finally one turned up and she showed up with this in the back of the Highlander.
I haven't played since Jr College back in 1975 but I'm surprised how much I remember. It's a 1956 Kay Bass.
Her motive in buying this was somewhat transparent. She wants me to play in her bluegrass band!

That's great! What does she play? I started playing the banjo a little over a year ago. 3 finger Scruggs style, of course!
