A Google Search Observation

Was doing a google search today on a medical question and what popped up on the top of the page was something entitled AI overview. It was great, concise, detailed info that I did't often find when I did searches in the past on other topics. Does this imply that this info was generated by AI?

Possibly. AI generated material should be double checked, as it can contain garbage info. AI isn’t intelligent. It’s just a more sophisticated method of data gathering.

yes it does and means it's pretty much bullsheet. Or at least can be treated that way. To not get that sheet you have to click on the option bar selection titled web.

What it did do was further reinforce how my wife and I need to ask her nephrologist why she has long declined to treat 1 aspect of her disease.

People don't realize is that AI is just another program that efficiently gathers data based on the info you have given it. This info comes from the user requesting the data plus the user's own entries on other things will help the AI "decide" what info to return.

It may even give you wrong information. I think the AI is still a bit green, and needs to mature more. You know, beginnings are trial and error.
