My twins - with a little help from the old man - scored a used, but beautifully restored Danish Ben Wade from my new friend, Cajundad.

Our Christmas guests left over an hour ago and I just finished my first bowl. This pipe is lovely, lightweight, thick walled, clenches well and smokes like a dream.
In the last 60 hours I've been to SW Missouri to see my dad, spent time with my brother visiting from New Mexico, lost 38 bucks to various family members in our semi-annual poker shoot-out, spent three and a half hours in a medical clinic getting one of my sons meds for an eye infection, caught up with my oldest, surviving friend in Joplin, MO and swapped Boy Scout patches, attended - ushered - & lectored two Christmas Eve masses, taxied healthy and dementia suffering in-laws from their locales to my home and back plus handwashed countless glasses/dessert plates, loaded/unloaded the dishwasher two times while assisting Mrs. Fnord with five loads of laundry.
I'm tired, but I'm also grateful for every single solitary moment I was able to spend with my wife, sons, father, in-laws and friends.
And you guys? You guys are just the gravy.
How blessed can one man be?
Fnord

Sounds like quite a time! I'm glad you can appreciate your blessings. That pipe is a beauty for sure :puffy:
