A while back a friend and fellow pipe smoker dropped by the house. He had been at a Tinder Box that was going out of business and changing hands. He presented me with a freehand, unsmoked, that he had picked up for a song. I promptly fired it up and being half blind told him it felt great and smoked better. After a while it dawned on me the pipe was a keeper and asked my wife what it said on the side. She told me, "nothing, but the bottom says made in Denmark, Ben Wade, and something about a Tawny Unicorn."
