After doing extensive reaserch (at my own expense) I've come to a conclusion about my pipe smoking. At least I think I have.It seems to me that I tend to smoke less if i'm smoking a heavy blend than if i'm smoking a mild blend.I attribute this to a more satisfying taste with the heavy blend..Anyone else experience this?.Now if I can get a grant I can do further studies.

I've noticed that I puff faster if there is something suspenseful going on on TV.

Yup, Penzance les often and slower. Aro that I like faster and more of it.
Since I retired and have nothing to do, I could run your grant office for about 2 or 3 million a year. That would leave you time to do your study. :laughat:

Lucky duck! I can't smoke inside, and my dads studio has no tv. Hmm, maybe I could take my old shitty tv and put it out there. We dont have cable, but maybe we have an old dvd player somewhere

time has no meaning for me, so ya if its a heavy english then slow it is, if its a mild aro then faster. If the wife is givin me that come hither look, then its faster, harder. hahahahha

I agree whole heatedly about this observation. Heavy isnt the word I would use though, mine is more along the lines of if I am smoking something I love, like I will smoke navy flake much slower than, lets say, PA
