95 Mustang Cobra Update

So today i went to the body shop to pick up my poor poor thing (as my wife calls it). I will post some before pics. Anyways, a buddy of mine, whos is a big mustang enthusiast, went with me to get it. Upon further review, all the damage is cosmetic and I am going to repair the car myself. Unfortunately it will have an Ohio Rebuilt Salvage Title, but who gives a shit. This car put 430 HP to the rear wheel. Here are the pics, and i will add more.

Congrats that is wonderful. You should grab some of Iwan Ries Gourmet English. It is wonderful. They also really cheap leather pipe socks you might want to check out. God I wish I was there now.

I was able to get all of the parts needed off of craigslist, god love craigslist, from a '96 cobra that was being parted out. $1500 and i'll be back on the road

rebuilt salvage title meas that the insurance company has 'totaled' the car but allowed me to buy it back. once the car is rebuilt it has to be inspected by the ohio state highway patrol (luckily i know the guy who runs this department) and they issue a rebuilt salvage title. it can be a pain in the ass to find an insurance company to cover the car and it just makes it more expensive. additionally, rebuilt titles in ohio are 'frowned' upon because usually they are issued when there is frame damage or something similar. in this case, the insurance company totaled it simply because of the age and the cost of new parts.

I had a salvage title for my 68 mustang because the original owner lost the title. Makes the car worth less money unfortunately.
