Cherry topping here is mild and tart and a bit sour, with a little richness and some honey syrup in the back end. Some toasted walnut and molasses, possibly from the burley and some grass taste similar to a Montecristo Cuban but very distant.
Reminds me of Mac Baren's Cherry Ambrosia a bit but not as sweet. No tongue bite and burns cool and even, which is nice for a cherry. I needed no re-light, but then again, I usually never do anyway. Room note is acceptably pleasing. Nic is negligible. Smoke is mild and the flavoring is light-ish to medium-light.
7 Seas is often over-rated but I think they're "properly" rated as "above average". It's no Boswell's P&T Cherry Smash, but it's a fine and reasonable cherry without tasting like cough syrup (Captain Black Cherry) nor synthetic in any way (like Cherry Bomb CAO). Decent and reasonably recommended.
