6mm charcoal filter recommendations

I’ve recently run out of Dr Perl Jr filters. I think they worked fine, but we’re just a mm too short to easily get out of my grabow pipes

What do you guys use? Any recommendations? I prefer charcoal.

The Problem with Vauen Dr. Perl 6mm- Filters is, that they are designed to work with Vauen 6mm pipes. For most other pipes with 6mm drilling, they are too short- as you have experienced. Savinelli as well as White Elephant 6mm Charcoal Filters are a bit longer, and working just fine with most 6mm Pipes. But to be honest, i don't know how popular these products are outside of Germany and how easy they are to come by.

Savinelli's are fine. I mostly prefer the balsa, but I have a pack of their charcoal I use every now and then.

Savinelli charcoal or balsa, or none at all, raw dogging it lol

balsa filters are unique (methinks) in that they can be cut with an exacto knife to fit different lengths. I’d recommend them.

Savinelli is the best as far as draw but they are way too expensive in my opinion. I haven’t tried White Elephant super flow but the regular ones are no good to me. I use Savinelli exclusively.
