Correct. Which would be a concern if any of us had self control and didn't make thank purchases once a month lol.To be clear, the sale tins cost you the price listed, not the price listed -$5.
You do not get credited the $5 until you buy more product, later on.
It says pretty clearly there "over 50 tins to choose from".
They're saying $5 with every tin purchased, aka it's repeatable. Not $5 on overall purchase. They wanted to be clear that if you buy 10 tins, you get 10 rebates.
This "sale" didn't look deceptive to me at all. It was spelled out pretty clearly, IMHO. I just didn't see that it was much of a sale at all on things that I might be interested in.I’m only going off the 2 pages listed, that this Home page link takes you to. Then the wording Bonus with the Star, listed on the left of the tins. Then when you click on these tins, there is a Bonus Tab listed below, to further click on.
Regardless...
The wording on the Home page ad says Every.
Now look at other tins through out the website, there is no Bonus Tab on these tins.

And I’m talking about $5 every tin, so maybe it could be, but why point to only two pages, showing Bonus listed on these and not all the others...
Anyhow, maybe it’s an honest mistake on their part.
You're way overthinking this.
I get what you are saying here, and it is a little deceptive, however, that "savings" that they are showing you is what the supposed retail amount they have the tin listed for. Case in point:I also just added 1 Bonus discount blend to the shopping cart, and it shows a $5 savings.

Now, add a different blend that is not from the two bonus pages, and check out your savings in the shopping cart.
This does not show the $5 savings. People could argue you’ll see it at checkout, but before a checkout people would like to see their sub total.

If you subtract their "MSRP" from their price, the savings they list is $2.26. That "savings" is always listed on all the cart summaries. I guess they want you to feel good that you are saving $$$. But all of us TAD suffering pipers know full well how to score the best deals.
The Mallard Flake tin might be an anomaly since it doesn't look like it has a listed MSRP.
I agree with you that the wording is not clear. People seem to be reading it the way P&C is hoping they would, thankfully forI went all the way through the checkout, which now shows the complete sale amount and no $5 savings listed.
So I am only saying, as the other Bonus Tins clearly show a $5 savings as I showed in the cart above, this doesn’t, that’s all, and it shouldn’t be shown now different.

Seriously, I’m not here to stir up trouble for them or anyone, but just don’t advertise things so confusing either.
This check out pic here, should clearly show a $5 savings, that is all, nothing more, not $2.26.
You're way too into the weeds on this.
- It's "over 50 tins to choose from" and "$5 P&C cash with every purchase" when you purchase those aforementioned tins in the promotion.
- You don't get $5 savings on any other tin.....just the ~50 tins listed on the promotion page.
- With every tin you order, you will get a little laminated card with a coupon code worth $5 in your box.
- Tins not on that page....get this......are not part of the promotion. If you see savings listed on tins outside of those 50, it's because they're "below MSRP" or some other promotion and of no relevance.
That's it lol.
